After Hours / on site testing
Drug and alcohol on call collection services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at our Corporate office. Emergency post-incident and reasonable cause testing services (drug and alcohol) are available throughout our Nationwide Network and will be managed through our Corporate office.
Collectors/technicians are available to provide onsite testing services for groups of 8 employees or more. Individual quotes for service are provided prior to service delivery.
Positive Test Management And Support
Chandler will provide immediate response to your company related to positive test management, refusal to submit to a test, and medical clearance situations. A qualified staff member or Substance Abuse Professional will assist both employer and employee to properly and effectively manage tasks associated with a positive test (ie. invitation to complete a Substance Abuse Assessment, referral to assessment, etc.).
Chandler will provide all forms necessary to effectively manage positive tests. These documents include a Positive Test Notice (“invitation to Substance Abuse Assessment letter”), which is sent with every confirmed positive test, as well as Medical Clearance forms which may be required for employees taking prescription medications.
Employee Substance Awareness Training
This 2.5-hour education program provides information about the effects of drugs and alcohol on the body, as well as on workplace safety. The course encourages effective decision-making skills and the reduction of workplace substance impairment by providing participants with accurate information about alcohol and other drugs and assisting them in making changes to their substance use behavior.
In addition, this course will provide the employee with an easy to understand overview of their company’s Fitness for Duty policy, with the goal of helping the employee to understand how to be compliant with the policy.
Fitness for Duty Policy Development
In consultation with your program administrator and management, Chandler Consulting Inc. will develop a Fit for Duty policy that meets all legislative/industry standard requirements (Human Rights, Privacy, OH&S, COAA, ISNetworld) and addresses workplace substance impairment.
